Gasoline Fuel Tanker Fire: Shellhorn & Hill (Assist Elsmere FC)

Tuesday, October 25, 1988
Elsmere, Five Points and Cranston Heights Fire Companies responded. They requested assistance from the Wilmington Fire Dept. Chemical 7 (a large capacity foam unit) A large gasoline fuel tanker caught fire during fuel transfer. The pump behind the tractor was being operated to transfer the fuel.
