On 10 February 2010 at approximately 18:30 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) along with other Mutual Aid Units from New Castle County were dispatched, via the NCC 911 Center, for a "Working" Residential Fire within a Vacant-Historic Farmhouse, located on Lancaster Pike. On 27 Feburary 2004 at 13:56 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) along with other Mutual Aid Units from New Castle County were dispatched, via the NCC 911 Center, for a "Working" Residential Fire, located at 2201 Inman Drive, in the development of Faulkland Heights. (Hitchens)



Gasoline Fuel Tanker Fire: Shellhorn & Hill (Assist Elsmere FC)

Tuesday, October 25, 1988
Elsmere, Five Points and Cranston Heights Fire Companies responded. They requested assistance from the Wilmington Fire Dept. Chemical 7 (a large capacity foam unit) A large gasoline fuel tanker caught fire during fuel transfer. The pump behind the tractor was being operated to transfer the fuel.
