At approximately 0330 on Sunday January 27th, the CHFC along with Duty Engine 16 and B-19 were alerted to a MVC on Lancaster Pike in front of the Coffee Run Condominiums. R-14 responded with a crew of 3 Commanded by 14 Captain 1 (Timmy O’Connor) and arrived to find a rear end type collision, with B-19’s crew evaluating 1 occupant who was still in her vehicle. Crews worked together to complete this task in under 10 minutes. As a precaution, a second crew simultaneously began to remove the driver’s side doors as plan B incase the initial plan did not work. The patient was placed on a backboard and removed from the vehicle. Both patients were transported to CER, 1 via B-14 and 1 via B-19 w/ALS. Units on location: B-14, B-19, R-14, R-16, M7, Fire Police from stations 14&16 and DSP
