Last night around 10pm, Cranston Heights Fire and EMS, New Castle County Paramedics Medic 7 were alerted to a Motor Vehicle Crash with Rollover on Newport Gap Pike (Route 41) at the Wilmington and Western Railroad crossing, just north of Kirkwood Highway (Route 2).

Rescue 14, C14 (ambulance) and Medic 7 arrived finding overturned into the trees. C14 and Medic 7 transported 1 patient with minor injuries to the hospital. Fire units cleared after about 15 minutes and Fire Police assisted PD and the towing company with traffic control until the vehicle was removed.
