On 19 March 2015 at 01:54 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14), along with other Mutual-Aid Units from New Castle County, were dispatched via the 911 Center for an Engine (14-2) and Rescue-14, to assist the Mill Creek FC (Stations 2 & 21) with a "Working" Residential Fire located at #16 Merrimore Court in the Highland West development. Upon arrival, responding unit found "Heavy Fire Showing" from the garage and living room areas of a Two-Story Single Family Residence. (Hitchens)
