On 23 April 2014 at 1322 hours the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) was dispatched, via the New Castle Co. 911 Center for a Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) with a Pole and Wires Down on Centerville Road at Woodview Drive. Rescue-14 responded with a Crew of three, along with both CHFCo. BLS Units; A-14 and B-14. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle accident with a DelMarVa Power Pole snapped from its base.
