On Sunday, February 20, 2022 the Cranston Heights Fire
Company along with our mutual aid
companies will be conducting a live fire training burn at a vacant residential structure located at
3307 Seminole Ave. This location is directly across from the Restore and behind the Cranston
Heights Fire Company Hall parking lot. All notifications and permits required to perform this
training have been obtained and completed.
There will be fire company apparatus
in the area during the training period starting around
0700. This equipment will remain in the area through the majority of the day for the training
event and then continue to be on location until the area is deemed s afe. Traffic impacts should
be kept to a minimum, but motorists should be aware and vigilant when in the area.
Along with fire company apparatus there will be smoke in the area, every effort to minimize
smoke will be made. Residents in the area should expect to smell and see smoke in different
volumes throughout the day in and around the training location. If you have any questions or
