| A Busy Night for the Wednesday Night Duty Crew On January 3, 2008, Station 17, Engine and Ladder 16 and Rescue 30 were dispatched for a structure fire in the 600 block of Homestead Road in Alban Park. Chief Hayes (17-8) arrived on the scene at 02:06 hrs and advised he had 2 seperate alarms. Both were middle of the row townhomes on opporite sides of the street with smoke showing. | Engine 14-5 covers Townsend Fire Co. On January 12, 2008, Engine 14-5, with a crew of eight, went to cover up Townsend Fire Co. (Station 26). Thew crew was providing a cover up engine for Townsend while they celebrated their 87th Annual Banquet from 17:00 hrs until 23:00 hrs. The crew did not respond to any alarms. Thank You to the Townsend Fire Company for inviting us down. |
